Job Description

The Principal Industry Consultant is responsible for leading and driving the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) business within the Nordics market. This role requires strategic leadership, business development expertise, and deep industry connections to establish and expand GCP adoption across industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Own and drive the GCP business strategy in the Nordics.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to establish GCP adoption in the sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, leveraging industry trends and market demands.

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and leverage a strong network within Google Cloud, including direct relationships with Google and its partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to drive cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Lead strategic discussions with key decision-makers to position GCP solutions effectively.

Technical & Industry Leadership

  • Maintain expert knowledge of GCP and its applications.
  • Advocate for best practices in cloud architecture, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide leadership on regulatory engagements, aligning cloud solutions with industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for technical and business operations.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record of growing a Google Cloud Platform business.
  • Established network within Google Cloud (direct relationships or via Google Cloud Partners).
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Experience in cloud transformation, governance, and compliance within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA or relevant professional qualifications preferred).

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the company’s compensation practices. The actual salary may also vary based on applicant's geographic location and qualifications.
