Job Description

The Data Management Specialist II will design ongoing and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support a product offering that helps Experian's data furnishers maintain quality of their reported data.

The DM Specialist II will collaborate and consult with important partners to identify needs and opportunities for improved data delivery, translating our needs into reporting requirements data management as a result.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will understand requirements to create the desired product outcome whether it is an ad hoc request or an ongoing product offering.
  • You will translate needs into clear data analytics reports.
  • You will responsible for important client projects and always delivers the product.
  • You will ensure the data is available, retrieving the data from a multiple data source, ordering the data.
  • You will consult with partners: marketing, sales, consulting, operations, and clients concerning requirements for product creation, build and delivery to enhance data reporting quality.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge or Python language.
  • Critical thinking with the ability to identify and relate business problems to data quality issues and vice versa.
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker) (Preferred).
  • Work with diverse teams including technology, operations, marketing and sales.
  • Creatively work through multiple system constraints and create holistic dashboards/reports based on data from diverse sources.
  • Credit bureau data and financial industry knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SQL language and concepts of database (DB2 and Vertica).
  • (Word, Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with analytical tools for business purposes (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Alteryx).
