What can you expect from this position?
In the role of Director of Enterprise Asset Management, you will be responsible for the managing, maintaining and optimizing of facilities and infrastructure assets across the entire organization as it relates to physical asset management. Through effective and strategic management, you will drive lower operating costs, improved customer experience, increased asset longevity and value, while managing construction and operating risk.
You will lead and develop multiple teams, including Facilities Management, Projects and Life Cycle Management, Enterprise Asset Management Maximo, Health and Safety, Quality Management, AND Warehousing and Purchasing and build a healthy environment which motivates and encourages others to do their very best work, removing any barriers and/or obstacles that may be getting in the way.
Through successful program management, vendor management and workforce planning you will ensure the care, maintenance, and repair of assets while meeting all regulatory requirements. You will set the department's vision and direction, aligning with the organization's Long-term Investments in Facilities and Terminals (LIFT) Program and other strategic initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
You are a strategic leader who has experience managing complex workloads with competing priorities. You understand the complexities of airport operations and how to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the longevity of the GTAA’s physical assets. You have an aptitude for change management and bring a transformative mindset in support of the GTAA’s future growth.
This is the role for you, if you have:
University or College degree in Engineering, Business, Architecture or Asset Management
Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist
Professional Designation in Asset Management
10-15 years of experience in Asset Management, including strategic planning and operational management and engineering
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in large international airports or equivalent enterprises with an annual turnover over CAD $500M
Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position
