Boats Group is seeking an innovative senior level HR Business Partner to join our team and help drive our talent strategy, execute impactful HR programs, and establish people practices that set us apart as an employer of choice.

In this strategic role, you’ll partner with entry-, mid-, and senior-level leaders to support key company initiatives, performance management, organizational design, and operating models. You’ll also serve as a thought partner to our HR Operations team, helping to shape scalable, people-first solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a strategic partner to the Leaders in the departments providing insight and recommendations based on observations
  • Lead the Professional Development Program, Succession and 9 box assessment process, and other talent programs that enable a memorable employee experience
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary
  • Participate and facilitate employee training centered around Manager Leadership Skills
  • Identify training needs and assist the learning and development function in aligning training programs with business objectives
  • Be up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management, to help leaders ensure compliance
  • Conduct day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (i.e. mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc.)
  • Assist managers navigate organizational, people, and change-related challenges
  • Optimizing organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business
  • Developing or assisting in developing a future-proof compensation strategy for all levels
  • Implementing reward and recognition interventions to increase bottom-line results and employee engagement
  • Establish and track relevant metrics and KPIs and use them to drive business results
  • Support the HR team and overall business by taking on additional projects as needed
  • Working together with management and staff to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover


What You Should Have

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in HR - roles such as Generalist, HR Manager, and HR business partner will prepare you well for this opportunity
  • Strong business acumen, particularly with tech company structure and corporate departments
  • Proven track record in developing managers and HR generalists/coordinators
  • Stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization
  • Must be a team player and exude a “can do attitude” with the ability to forge strong relationships across the organization
  • Willingness to assist with special projects as assigned
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to problem solving for win-win scenarios
  • Experience in working through complex transactions, with the ability to analyze, problem solve and communicate observations and recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience working in a collaborative environment to drive results
  • Experience working for a global organization is highly preferred
  • SHRM or HRCI certification highly preferred
  • We are a hybrid organization with team gatherings in our Brickell office from Tuesday to Thursday each week. At this time, we are unable to offer relocation assistance.
