Job description

What we’re looking for

Vacasa is now part of the Casago family and we’re  is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Franchise Operations to lead and elevate the performance of our growing franchise network. This strategic leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting franchise partner success, and ensuring alignment with Casago’s brand standards, procedures, and long-term growth objectives. As a key member of the executive team, the VP will foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Franchise Operations & Support
    • Lead and manage daily operational support for all franchise locations.
    • Develop and scale systems, SOPs, and performance metrics (KPIs) to support consistent execution and measurable success.
    • Conduct regular operational audits, business reviews, and performance assessments to ensure excellence and compliance.
  • Franchise Partner Success
    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with franchise partners to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
    • Identify and implement strategies to improve franchisee profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for franchise issues, providing proactive and effective solutions.
  • Revenue Growth & Strategic Planning
    • Drive system-wide revenue growth through strategic planning, performance optimization, and market expansion initiatives.
    • Own and achieve franchisor revenue targets through data-driven analysis and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with franchise sales teams to support new market development and franchisee acquisition.
  • Onboarding & Training
    • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new franchisees to ensure a seamless and successful launch.
    • Lead the Casago University team to design and deliver comprehensive training programs supporting operational excellence, growth, and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, including Partner Success Managers and Casago University Trainers.
    • Oversee shared service initiatives to optimize efficiency and profitability across the franchise network.
    • Partner closely with marketing, product, finance, and executive leadership to execute cross-functional initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Compliance & Brand Integrity
    • Ensure franchisee adherence to contractual agreements, brand standards, and operational policies.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and legal developments impacting franchising operations and proactively adjust strategies as needed.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

Skills you'll need

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in franchise operations, including 5+ years within short-term rentals, vacation rentals, or hospitality in a franchise-based business.
  • Proven track record of driving growth, enhancing franchise profitability, improving operational performance, and enabling franchise partner success.
  • Strong understanding of franchise systems, business models, and compliance frameworks.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to interpret balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flow statements.
  • Deep operational understanding of revenue forecasting and budget management.
  • Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, influence and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and platforms, including CRM, business intelligence tools, operations software, and property management systems

Compensation:

  • $150,000 - $200,000 / year + bonus opportunity. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location
