As Institutional Revenue Manager – APAC, you will:

  • Enable timely and regionally informed renewal follow-ups to enhance customer engagement and outcomes.
  • Enable closer collaboration with APAC leadership (Director: Library Renewal Sales, Solutions & Partner Marketing –APAC and Manager, Library Renewals & Sales Reporting – ANZ, Japan & SEA) to align strategies and priorities.
  • Enable improved responsiveness to market dynamics and strengthened relationship management.
  • Enable a foundation for long-term operational continuity and renewal success across the region.


Your new role:

  • Manage standalone subscription renewals in Japan, China, and other APAC markets.
  • Reduce attrition rates and recover outstanding renewals.
  • Collaborate with agents, institutional customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient renewal processes.
  • Reactivate lapsed customers through tailored offers (e.g., discounts, package upgrades).
  • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities (e.g., content packages, backfiles, eBooks).
  • Work in tandem with the London Renewals Team and Revenue Manager, Global Circulation to ensure alignment.
  • Support the transition and renewal of Mary Ann Liebert (MAL) accounts, valued at approx. USD 4 million.


Your skills, qualifications & experiences include but not limited to: 

  • Demonstrated interest in academic publishing and/or education.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to retain and grow revenue.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM and data reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through in managing multiple renewal timelines.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative in a dynamic regional environment.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management, renewals, customer success, or sales operations, preferably in publishing, SaaS, or B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of customer accounts across multiple markets.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
