What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for an Instructional Design and Development Coordinator to join our Training Development Unit. This positions primary responsibilities include for the design and development of learning activities, assignments, assessments, and instructional approaches in the development of online and hybrid (blended) training for Trillium Members, Providers, and Staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, educational technologies, multimedia design and/or learning analytics. On a typical day, you might:

  • Develop assessment instruments, evaluation criteria, and conduct research to evaluate learner performance. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify appropriate learning pathways (eLearning, blended, face to face).
  • Create immersive, interactive educational experiences and resources, applying core instructional design principles and theories to enhance learning. 
  • Assist in curriculum development, guide instructional program development, and supports course design. 
  • Participate in planning for educational needs and supports organizational initiatives. 
  • Utilize authoring tools and learning management systems for content development.

Qualifications: 

Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in working with data electronically, and MS Office suite.

OR

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in working with data electronically, and MS Office suite.

OR

Equivalent combination of higher education/experience.
 
Preferred Education: 
 
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Informational Technology, and Business Administration. Master’s Degree preferred.
 

Preferred Experience: 
Experience in Learning Management Systems and Project Implementation; IT application programming or data and systems integration; Adobe Creative Suite; and experience in coordinating online registration and use of presentation technology is preferred.

License/Certification:
 Must have a valid driver’s license

License/Certification Preferred:
 Prefer Certified Professional in Training Development (CPTD), Offered by the Association for Talent Development (ATD); Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD): Offered by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI); Articulate Certified Training Partner (ACTP); Certified Professional in E-Learning (CPE): Offered by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI). Certified Learning Professional (CLP): Offered by the Learning and Performance
