Buyer - Material Planner

Purchases materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures, and optimizes price delivery, and terms.

About the job:

  • Plan and analyze raw materials requirements based on demand/ forecast through MRP and within desired inventory levels.

  • Generate and issue a PO to the Suppliers.

  • Monitor the status of delivery and make the necessary arrangements for critical items.

  • Maintain planning master data in SAP, such as Safety stocks, ABC Class, forecast consumption, and lead times.

  • Settles delivery issues and discrepancies with Suppliers and the Warehouse.

  • Effectively manage inventory by using lean techniques, e.g. Kanban, JIT, etc.

About you:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course.

  • With experience in a manufacturing company.

  • Materials Planning in SAP MRP System.

  • Fluent (Written and Verbal) in English.

  • Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is required.

  • Time management and sense of urgency.
