About The Role
As a Category Buyer Raw Material you are responsible for the development and implementation of procurement strategies for raw materials in the EMEA region. You work closely with global teams and local stakeholders, analyze markets and suppliers, lead negotiations, and support key procurement projects. In doing so, you ensure effective supplier management, identify risks, and actively contribute to achieving targets and optimizing costs.

Lead and manage the supplier portfolio, overseeing sourcing, contract management, and fostering long-term supplier relationships
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and global teams to understand needs, share best practices, and align regional goals with global objectives
Ensure compliance and efficiency in procurement processes, supporting initiatives like ESG, KAITEKI, and HSE, while continuously optimizing procurement activities
Analyze spend profiles and manage risks, monitoring supplier risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
Profil
You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, along with solid professional experience in procurement, ideally in an international environment, preferably in the chemicals, automotive, or electronics industries
You have extensive experience leading contract negotiations, including negotiating terms, managing large procurement events, coordinating supplier implementations, and maintaining key supplier relationships
Experience in the procurement of chemicals is an advantage
You are willing to travel regularly
Strong written and spoken English skills complete your profile
