Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions.

Implement and oversee dimensional data modeling and data governance strategies.

Develop best practices in data engineering for the pipelines developed, ensuring data quality at each step (such as CI/CD).

Have expertise in data streaming and real-time processing, knowing when to use each format of ingestion and processing depending on the use case.

Develop and maintain scripts in SQL and Python.

Diagnose and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Collaborate closely with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with product goals.

Implement automated tests to ensure the reliability, integrity, and quality of data solutions.

Requirements for this challenge:

Proven experience in data engineering, preferably in a high-performance environment.

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS Cloud services.

Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, data governance, and data modeling.

Strong experience with ETL processes.

Able to diagnose and resolve issues in data-related operations.

Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with automated testing and familiarity with testing frameworks.

Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

Experience with no-code tools, such as Dell Boomi.

Experience with Power BI

Certifications or formal training in AWS cloud services and data engineering tools.

Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts and solutions.

Interest in working with AI.
