Key responsibilities:

Support the Executive Director and project managers in daily operations.

Assist in coordinating meetings and communications within the coalition.

Help maintain records and documentation for accreditation processes.

Contribute to policy change initiatives and research activities.

The mission of God’s Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. We also provide illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to our clients, families, care providers and other service organizations. About Us

The Food is Medicine Coalition (FIMC) is a national coalition of nonprofit organizations that provide medically tailored meals (MTMs) and groceries (MTGs), medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling and education to people in communities across the country living with severe and chronic illnesses. We advance access to these life-saving interventions through policy change, research and evaluation, and best practices. FIMC agencies created the medically tailored meal model and maintain the nutrition standards for the intervention. FIMC audits and accredits medically tailored meal agencies, offers a community of learning for existing practitioners and equips new organizations to launch medically tailored meal programs.

About the Role

The Food is Medicine Coalition (FIMC) seeks experienced and appropriately qualified candidates for a part-time position, Operations Associate. This position will support the highly collaborative remote work environment of FIMC. The FIMC Operations Associate will work in close collaboration with the Executive Director, Manager of Policy & Projects, and Manager of Membership & Accreditation to support our growing Coalition.
