Job Summary

As an EE Supplemental Claims Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of supplemental insurance claims—from intake and eligibility verification to adjudication and payment. You’ll manage increasingly complex claims and provide expert guidance to peers. This role is key to delivering a responsive and empathetic customer experience while ensuring claim accuracy and compliance. You’ll also contribute to process improvements by elevating customer feedback and helping to streamline claim operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and adjudicate supplemental insurance claims through final resolution.
  • Investigate eligibility, calculate payable benefits, and initiate accurate and timely payments.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to team members as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

Must-Haves:

  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefits, claims, or financial services.
  • Experience with claim processing and direct claimant communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with supplemental insurance or group benefit products.
  • Mentoring or peer training experience.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$48,000.00 - $70,250.00
