Playfly Sports is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Playfly Access team in Los Angeles, CA!
The Account Coordinator will support to the Access department with lead generation and new business development as well as partnership growth and upsell strategy development by creating prospect sheets, tracking marketplace trends, researching various accounts and categories and developing sales collateral. The person in this role will assist in the collaboration, ideation and execution of sales plans. This includes presentation creation, list management and overall account maintenance. This individual will also be responsible for supporting the management of various new asset verticals or product categories assigned to the Access team.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Perform online searches on assigned account targets, track industry news alerts and format/repurpose sales presentation materials for current and prospective clients
- Develop strong understanding of the sports multi-media/sponsorship industry and Playfly offerings across all sales divisions
- Compile, organize and format data & information on potential clients into Excel in support of the sales function; deliver and present to department leaders to be shared across sales divisions
- Use research, data & internal systems to analyze which categories, brands and clients are the best targets for the company’s revenue generation and growth
- Provide and maintain background and research on key categories across the advertising and marketing industry and current client roster and portfolio
- Manage internal tracking for Access team to ensure proper coverage of accounts and distribution of account information
- Support department sellers on pre/post-meeting needs, including tracking of specific brand objectives and needs analysis
- Read articles, news alerts, other media outlets to understand emerging trends in the market
- Assist members of the Partnership Development team with ad-hoc projects & requests
- Other job-related duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1 year of office experience or experience in a related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Interest in sports/marketplace industry
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & projects with competing deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook is required.
- Good organizational skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually
- Familiarity with sales & media systems i.e. Media Radar, Sponsor United, Winmo, preferred
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
- Primarily works in a quiet professional office environment
- Minimal travel may be required from time to time
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $45,000.00 to $50,000.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
