About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to join us to drive strategic sales operations processes and improve the Zillow business. This individual will typically manage 3-5 initiatives in parallel, in addition to owning recurring operational responsibilities. An ideal candidate is someone with a strong Sales Operations background, a quick learner who demonstrates strong leadership, sees around corners, possesses organizational expertise, is an excellent cross-functional communicator, and has a passion for building data driven solutions.

You Will Get To:
  • Refine and automate book of business creation and management

  • Understand and support frontline compensation management

  • Identify, validate, and coordinate the stand up and improvements to sales tooling enabling frontline reps to become more efficient and scalable.

  • Use extensive knowledge and analysis to develop strategic insights, challenge long-standing beliefs, and influence improvements

  • Define and stand-up processes that drive impactful efficiency gains while adhering to programmatic compliance requirements

  • Demonstrate an outstanding blend of business savvy and PM skills by defining key objectives, translating ideas into action plans, and maintaining day-to-day oversight of workstreams

  • Build positive relationships, acquire commitment to results, and enforce accurate documentation.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • 7+ years of proven experience in strategy, sales operations, business operations, analytics, and/or project management.

  • Experience managing large, sophisticated cross-functional initiatives and delivering results while balancing competing priorities in a fast-past environment

  • Highly proficient in varying analytical and project management tools (Excel, SQL, Gsuite, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Tableau).

  • Aptitude and excitement for mapping process improvements and conceptualizing innovative solutions for ambiguous problems.

  • Collaborative work-style -- empowers leaders and partners to get results.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to anticipate downstream challenges.

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
