Summary

The role involves providing personalized customer service as a Maskatel ambassador. This includes active listening to determine customer needs and recommending suitable products and services. Account-related inquiries will also be addressed.

Responsibilities
  • Sell products and services based on customer needs
  • Perform after-sales service activities (invoicing, address changes, general information, solve customer problems or refer them to the department concerned)
  • Use surveys to question customers on their satisfaction level 
  • Retain customers who want to cancel or reduce their products and services
  • Manage clients' administrative files
  • Occasionally solicit active customers and potential customers
Qualifications
  • Have a completed high school diploma
  • DEP in  in one of the following programs: Customer Service Agent, Sales and Consulting Representative, Call Center Agent, Administration or Secretarial (any equivalent experience will be considered)
  • Experience as a call center representative and/or in a customer service related position
  • Experience in a sales team
  • Experience as a team resource person
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team
  • High sense of ethics
  • Shows courtesy, respect and diligence towards customers
  • Outgoing and good verbal expression on the phone
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in selling products and services by phone
  • Good synthesis and analysis skills
  • Ability to take charge and move files forward
  • Ease in learning and using computer systems
  • Methodical and rigorous in one’s work
  • Interest in the field of telecommunications and/or technologies
  • Knowledge of English and French, oral and written, in the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English-speaking stakeholders
Conditions of employment
  • Position attached to the Saint-Hyacinthe office (Workways Remote Profile)
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week)

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
