Job description

Under the direct supervision of the Post-Award Supervisor, the Business Office Analyst supports the clinical research efforts of the Cancer Center by performing clinical research bill review for a large clinical trial portfolio under the management of the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Office of Clinical Research (OCR). The OCR manages approximately 250+ active, or in-development, clinical trials with ~300 patient accrued annually.


Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • Experience with electronic health records and clinical trial management systems.
  • Experience with clinical research billing transactions.
  • Experience with administration of complex clinical trials.
  • Experience using financial systems.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management and financial reports.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of transactions related to clinical research billing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with administration of complex clinical trials.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of State and Federal regulation, procedures and policies regarding clinical research billing & coding policy and applicable CMS Local and National Coverage Decisions
  • Excellent research and investigative skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
