The Role

You will be part of our Home claims team responsible for supporting those managing claims for direct customers on behalf of our main partner brands.


The Operations Support team supports the whole of Home claims and the Head of Home Claims by operationalising initiatives and projects, identifying process improvements including knowledge management, Risk incident management and root cause analysis, and by identifying areas of learning and uplifting capability throughprovision of a technical coaching and referral service for new and existing teams


Reporting to the Head of Home Claims your main responsibilities will be:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the Home Claims teams to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets.
  • Assisting the Head of Home Claims in developing, managing and monitoring the implementation of a Business plan and Roadmap for Home Claims Direct that ensures strategic alignment.
  • Driving initiatives in conjunction with the Home Claims LT to improve Culture, process effectiveness, customer satisfaction, supplier management, Leakage and risk improvement
  • Improve technical expertise of all staff, reduce leakage, improve consistency, effectiveness and efficiency through technical coaching and referral services provided by Seniors.
  • Improve retention and speed to competency of new staff through management of the onboarding service
  • Ensuring compliance with all insurance codes of practice, laws and regulations.
  • Providing direction, leadership and training to in-house claims professionals.


About You

  • Extensive leadership and end to end claims management experience
  • Advanced technical insurance and policy interpretation background
  • Solid strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to stay focused when juggling multiple tasks, projects and pressures and still achieve the planned objective
