About The IB
Generation Global is the International Baccalaureate’s (IB) global citizenship education programme. It enables young people, aged 13-17, to embrace the future, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become active and internationally minded learners. Generation Global was established in 2009 and has worked in over 50 countries in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA), Europe and the Americas, teaching dialogue skills to teachers and students, and facilitating meaningful global encounters between young people.
The programme has trained over 15,000 teachers and reached over 620,000 students globally. Our resources are recognised as good practice by organisations including UNESCO, the Brookings Institution and Club De Madrid, and have been used in the programme’s partnership with governments across the world, including Italy, Jordan, Australia’s Northern Territory, and several states in India.
About The Job
This role is ideal for someone with a experience in partnership development and programme coordination with schools and school networks, who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Educator and Learner Engagement:
Manage existing network of schools, partners, and not for profit organizations.
Organize and lead workshops, webinars, and community engagement events for educators and learners.
Be the a primary point of contact for schools, educators, and partner organizations.
Maintain consistent communication with educators, providing updates on events, resources, and opportunities.
Support all educators taking part in Generation Global to create accounts, book video conferences, add students, and use teaching materials effectively.
Build rapport with teachers, school leaders, and other key stakeholders from existing and new schools.
Visit schools and partners periodically to engage with school leaders, educators, and principals and support them in effectively using Generation Global tools and resources.
Collaborate with internal teams to create engagement strategies for educators and learners in priority regions.
Outreach and Programme Expansion:
Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage with schools, education groups, and nonprofit organizations.
Identify and reach out to schools, education networks, and teacher associations in key markets.
Plan and conduct information/demo sessions for schools and educators to promote Generation Global’s offerings.
Develop comprehensive databases of schools and education groups to support outreach initiatives.
Coordinate induction and onboarding of new educators, partners, and schools in the programme.
Work with the Partnerships, Marketing and Communications Lead to develop and implement large scale partnerships in South Asia with governments, youth organisation, not for profit organisations, and other partners.
Programme Delivery and Implementation:
Support the delivery of Generation Global programme by coordinating with partners to reach learners and train educators.
Monitor programme progress, including registration numbers, participation rates, and engagement metrics.
Develop and deliver materials, such as presentations, toolkits, resource materials and reports, to support programme implementation.
Assist in piloting new models (e.g., hybrid educator training, learner workshops, educator awards) to test and refine engagement approaches.
Support team members with training delivery and lead on orientation sessions, learner workshops, and other informational webinars for new and potential partners.
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
Contribute to regional and country-specific strategies to guide programme growth and engagement.
Develop plans for scaling partnerships and expanding outreach in new regions.
Track and analyse partnership and programme data to inform strategies and decision-making.
Prepare reports and case studies highlighting good practices, successes, and recommendations.
Assist in the preparation of programme budgets and annual reports.
Compliance and other responsibilities:
Work with the Communications team to promote programmes through blogs, social media, and other channels.
Provide support for ad-hoc initiatives, such as planning referral campaigns or drafting strategic documents.
Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, programme systems and processes, including those related to safeguarding, security, and legal matters.
Undertake any other responsibilities that further contribute to Generation Global’s business plans, as required.
About You
Prior experience of working with schools, teachers, and educators in India, Middle East, and other South Asian countries.
Good experience in partnership development, programme coordination, or a related role, ideally in the education or nonprofit sector.
Understanding and experience of the education sector (secondary level) in India and other South Asian countries.
Prior ed-tech sales experience or experience of working in an ed-tech start-up is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with others, including people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft office.
Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and sharing insights to inform strategy and drive results.
Creative problem-solver with a strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for achieving social impact
Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential, and additional language proficiency is desirable.
