What we need
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to drive the development and execution of Chevin’s marketing strategy, leading and inspiring the team to bring our products, brand, and value proposition to life in key strategic markets around the world. You will have experience of managing a team and budget, strategic marketing execution and sales growth across all channels, driving leads through to conversion in alignment with the business goals.
What you will need to do
- Market intelligence and positioning – Gather market, industry, and customer intelligence to inform strategy and messaging to our addressable and obtainable markets.
- Marketing strategy – Develop and implement the marketing strategy across the business, communicating, and inspiring connection with the brand and value proposition.
- Team leadership – Lead, mentor, develop and inspire the marketing team on delivery of the marketing strategy, demonstrating the company values, across the team.
- Conversion growth – Increase customer conversion through growth in MQLs and marketing sourced SQLs, working across all marketing channels, including digital, press, events, and paid media.
- Growth opportunities – Consistently identifying new or expanded revenue and conversion opportunities, with strategic proposals to implement.
- Budgeting and ROI – Manage budgets and resources effectively, with data driven insights that guide prioritisation, with demonstratable ROI.
- Reporting and KPIs – Monitor, measure and regularly communicate performance across all levels, that demonstrates growth in key metrics, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Agency and contractors – Manage agency and contractor relationships, expectations, and execution.
- Cross functional collaboration – Collaborate with other departments, e.g. Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure alignment and buy-in and understanding of the marketing strategy.
- Marketing execution – Oversee the execution of digital performance, SEO, content and social media production, event management and marketing growth initiatives across the team.
- Customer retention – Working with Customer Success, identify, develop, and implement marketing initiatives and plans that protect customer retention and promote revenue growth.
- Partner collaboration – Working closely with key partners, propose and deliver compelling messaging on combined go-to market initiatives.
What experience do you need to have?
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience working in a marketing role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a management role.
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, channels, and best practices.
- Excellent understanding of regulations, professional standards, and legislation.
- Intricate knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Strong Digital and SEO expertise.
- Tactical, hands-on experience with lead generation, forecasting, reporting and data analysis
- Experience in leading a team day to day, as well as larger projects.
- Proven experience working with media publications and external vendors to promote brand awareness.
- Experience developing compelling messaging across multiple channels.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Desirable
- Marketing management experience in a software and SaaS market.
- A Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional diploma or equivalent.
- International marketing management experience, working across different regions and verticals.
