Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm CST

Job Description

Step into a dynamic virtual medical reception role where you’ll be the vital link between patients and healthcare providers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine healthcare knowledge with bilingual communication skills, directly impacting patient care and clinic operations. You’ll manage patient communications, coordinate appointments, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for clinic services, all while working remotely with a supportive medical team. This role provides excellent growth potential, with the opportunity to expand from part-time to full-time based on performance and clinic needs.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient communications, managing both incoming and outgoing calls and messages
  • Handle patient inquiries professionally in both Spanish and English, ensuring clear and accurate information delivery
  • Process and coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
  • Utilize medical practice management software to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Explain clinic services and treatment options to prospective and current patients
  • Coordinate with medical staff to relay patient questions and concerns
  • Manage electronic health records system with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance
  • Support various administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with clinic services and procedures


Requirements
  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English (Mexican Spanish strongly preferred)
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and efficiently use healthcare software systems
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic healthcare concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
  • Professional phone manner and customer service orientation
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience with or ability to learn electronic medical record systems quickly
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office setup
