About Our Internship Program:

The Summer 2025 internship cycle takes place between June to August. 

This is an unpaid, remote educational internship. Our interns gain a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly into a supervisor and have the opportunity to explore the marketing and communications field, gain both in-house and agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors.

Summary of Position:

In this internship with our Agency Marketing & Communications team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to experience the variety, pace and excitement of agency life, while also gaining in-house experience on a team that’s focused on elevating NVE’s reputation in the industry and generating client leads through content marketing (social media, blog posts, newsletters, etc.), PR (media relations, press releases, editorial coverage), thought leadership (bylined articles, speaking opportunities), industry awards, and other initiatives and projects.

Candidates should be passionate about the Marketing & Advertising industries, with a special interest in Experiential and Events. We’re looking for well-rounded team players and curious minds, with excellent writing skills, strong organization skills, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a knack for social media content creation.

This role will directly support and report to the Marketing & Communications Director. 

Job Responsibilities:

Brand, Social & Sales Marketing Strategy 

Help develop brand assets, copy, and other materials for NVE marketing objectives including newsletters, social media content, case studies, website content, and key communications 

  • Assist in execution of social media strategy, including sourcing photo and video content, copywriting, and publishing across multiple social platforms

Support on social media monitoring/reporting and community management (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) Assist with Content Calendar maintenance and saving/consolidating marketing assets

  • Generate new, ownable content ideas for the agency
  • Work with other interns across the agency to capture and create content for NVE channels
  • Attend local NVE client activations and assist with content capture 

Investigate current trends in the media, brand, and agency landscape

  • Support the coordination, development and writing of thought leadership content

Department Support

Attend and participate in department meetings Assist with meeting preparation, organizing meeting notes, and circulating post-meeting recap emails as needed

  • Support maintenance and organization of team files and folders
  • Help develop templates and codify processes

Requirements: 

  • Be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college/university
  • Must have a personal laptop/computer
  • Must be able to work remotely at least 3 full days a week or 24 hours total within the 9:00-6:00pm Eastern (preferred) or Pacific Time zone. 

Qualifications:

  • Ideal majors: Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Previous internship experience preferred; agency experience is a plus
  • Writes effectively, persuasively, and professionally
  • Process-oriented and highly organized, with exceptional time management skills
  • Curious and resourceful, with a can-do attitude
  • Values collaboration, but feels confident working autonomously
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Passionate about the experiential marketing & advertising industries
  • Understands and is fascinated by culture, subcultures, and the forces that move them
  • Proficiency with G-suite/Google Workplace and Microsoft Office
  • Graphic design and video production/editing experience is a major plus
