Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20+ hours per week, Flexible schedule

  • Client Timezone: PST/PDT (Vancouver)


Join a growing virtual counselling practice where you'll play a crucial role in building their digital presence and helping families access vital support services. As the Social Media Specialist, you'll create engaging content, manage multiple social platforms, and help build meaningful connections with potential clients. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while applying your creative and strategic marketing skills to grow an impactful healthcare practice. You'll be instrumental in helping families find the support they need during challenging times through strategic digital marketing initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content across multiple social media platforms

  • Schedule and coordinate social media posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer

  • Engage with followers and manage community interactions

  • Convert raw assets (images, videos) into engaging social media content

  • Build and maintain social media profiles

  • Collect and organize lead information from social media engagement

  • Support lead generation efforts through ebook promotion

  • Track and manage potential client inquiries

  • Coordinate with existing systems to maintain organized data collection

  • Managing all social media platforms for the practice

  • Handling initial lead collection and organization

  • Supporting overall digital marketing strategy

  • Working directly with practice owner


Requirements:

  • Experience in social media management and content creation

  • Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Understanding of lead generation and funnel marketing

  • Experience with data organization and basic CRM management

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Knowledge of social media best practices and engagement strategies
