POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Officer, Digital Rights plays a critical role in advancing Equality Now’s mission to protect and promote the rights of women and girls in digital spaces. As part of the Be Net Positive campaign, this role supports the delivery of strategic initiatives aimed at:
Rooted in legal and human rights expertise, this position is ideal for a committed advocate with a background in law—particularly in digital rights, women’s rights, and EU digital rights and AI legal frameworks. The successful candidate will bring a nuanced understanding of how systemic discrimination against women and girls intersects with broader social inequalities and will apply that knowledge to drive meaningful, rights-based change across digital environments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary for reference: $38,580 - $47,000 - Kenya, £40,149 - £50,186 - UK, $30,800 - $38,500 - Spain, $35,965 - $44,956 - Brazil (Level 2 position), dependent on location.
At Equality Now, we offer a competitive salary aligned with global pay parity principles. Compensation is determined based on the candidate’s experience, professional background, location, and the UN Cost of Living index, which adjusts salaries to maintain an equitable standard of living across regions. The range below reflects the salary for this position in the UK, Spain, Brazil, and Kenya, though final compensation may vary based on cost-of-living adjustments and exchange rate fluctuations at the time of hire.
The final offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, and qualifications/certifications.
