Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule with Timezone: 10am - 6pm, Mon, Wed, Fri
Client Timezone : Singapore 

Payroll Processing:
  • Process payroll through StaffAny, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Verify payroll data (e.g., hours worked, bonuses, deductions).
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records in line with company policies and local laws.
  • Collaborate with finance on payroll budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure taxes and benefits are deducted correctly.

Work Permit Management:

  • Report on available quota through MoM portal
  • Manage work pass applications through Singapore Ministry of Manpower

Onboarding:

  • Manage the employee onboarding process (documents, contracts, etc.).
  • Send offer letters and contracts to new hires.
  • Add new employees to payroll/rostering systems and ensure access.
  • Prepare work equipment and materials for new hires.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Ensure legal compliance during onboarding.

Offboarding:

  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit documentation and interviews.
  • Remove departing employees from payroll/rostering systems.
  • Coordinate the return of company assets (e.g., equipment, keys).
  • Process final paychecks, including bonuses or deductions.
  • Ensure smooth transition for offboarded employees.

Other HR Tasks:

  • Assist with maintaining employee records.
  • Monitor and report payroll data to management.
  • Support HR with audits and compliance reporting

Requirements

 Experience:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing or HR administration, especially with systems like StaffAny.
  • Previous experience working with a multi-outlet restaurant or retail group.
  • Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes is a plus.
  • Experience within an HR deparment in Singapore is also a plus.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of payroll systems (preferably StaffAny).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Education:

  • A degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is preferred, but not required.
