Data Support Specialist I, CDS Operations (Remote)
Full-time, Costa Rica
The Data Support Specialist I is the first point of contact for all support queries related to our client reporting tools. They will work on a wide range of different tasks daily, from troubleshooting data, reports, and tool issues to providing training, support, and access to the tools. They will work with Agencies, Owned, Partner, JV, and 3rd Parties to receive the transactional data and ensure it is processed into BCD reporting. They will work with internal and external customers and coordinate with our internal technical teams. Client Data Solutions is a global team, so the Data Support Specialists will build close relationships with others from around the globe to support our day-to-day business.
As a Data Support Specialist I, CDS Operations, you will
Conduct data investigations to identify the origin and potential corrections
Troubleshoot data and tool issues/errors, analyzing the return to make an informed deduction to be communicated to requesters
Be accountable for MIS Administration. This includes understanding, managing, maintaining, implementing, changing, and de-implementing client-specific reporting requirements in specific country finance, accounting, and agent application tools
Take ownership of global agency data delivery support for final data consolidation
Provide business support for country reporting and internal data processes
Create and maintain internal/external user access to our supported tools; DecisionSource, Data Quality Services, FileMover, APIs, etc
Assist with system issues and maintenance
About You
Prior experience in customer service within the travel industry
SQL and relational database knowledge
Ability to effectively articulate technical opportunities and risks
Proficient in Microsoft Office products; including Microsoft Excel with a mastery of the pivot table function
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Travel agent or operations experience is a plus
