Job description

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Support Data Engineer who possesses a wealth of expertise in data integration solutions. This pivotal role necessitates not only strong proficiency in SQL but also a comprehensive understanding of various Data Integration methodologies, including but not limited to ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Replication, and Data Profiling. These skills are crucial for effectively addressing and supporting our diverse business needs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL code and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Conduct thorough analyses of data to both identify and address new opportunities as well as existing business challenges, thus facilitating informed decision-making.
Regularly review and assess query performance, implementing necessary optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in data retrieval and processing.
Provide critical level support for production systems, ensuring high availability and reliability of data services, while swiftly addressing any issues that arise.
Meticulously document all processes and methodologies developed, fostering transparency and knowledge sharing within the team and contributing to an environment of continuous improvement.

Requirements

+7 years of proven experience in Microsoft (MS) Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
Working experience with Microsoft BI Tool Suite (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) or any other ETL/ELT data integration tool.
Understanding of SQL Server Agent, Integration Services Catalogs, SSISDB Projects and Environments, SSMS, Visual Studio.
Proficiency in data modeling, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes.
Experience with data warehousing.
Familiarity with data governance best practices and tools.
Fluent in English.
Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to create solutions.
