Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an IT Director of Digital & Ecommerce Technologies to join our team and oversee the rollout of Envista’s Digital Experience Platform. The role will lead technology decisions, develop a digital technology roadmap, oversee digital application data needs, manage Agile transformations, and mentor a high-performing team. You will be reporting to the IT Global Head of Digital Platforms and will be a part of the team that defines and drives the technologies for all our digital websites and ecommerce websites. Some of the responsibilities include vendor and internal resource management, delivery of multiple large-scale projects and programs working closely with the Digital Marketing CoE team. The ideal candidate is used to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is agile enough to adapt to change whilst juggling multiple hats and leading an international team across the US, EU and India made up of employees and Vendor contractors.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct an applications development solutions group to support our Digital & Ecommerce strategy.
  • Lead end to end delivery of multiple Digital technical pods overseeing the Technical design, Code review process, Quality assurance as well as DevOps processes around those squads
  • Lead the design and oversee the implementation of digital application data needs keeping in mind the other systems that the digital sites will interact with – ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse among others
  • Lead the Agile Product Management transformation for the team
  • Establish a trusted, close-touch relationship with the business product team. Interfacing with key stakeholders int within IT and with the Operating Companies.
  • Supplement internal resources with outside expertise as required
  • Develop and mentor a high performing team, focused on timely delivery and creative solutions, ensuring succession as well as their own people development objectives 
  • Oversee the digital technologies budget and ensure effective delivery of committed products, services and solutions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Digital IT systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead the IT operations team in managing and maintaining the Digital IT systems, including hardware, software, and various tools
  • Drive for high uptime and urgent resolution as well as Global Operations via a system of monitoring tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, security, and operations to ensure smooth integration of systems and workflows.
  • Work closely with the security team to ensure that all IT systems, networks, and applications adhere to the organization's security policies and comply with relevant regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or any related fields.
  • 15 years’ experience in Digital website and ecommerce technologies with a
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role within an IT department
  • Knowledge of Drupal, Drupal Acquia and Adobe Commerce
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, resources and internal collaborators in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
