We are looking for a Federal Account Executive who will identify, qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with US DoD customers for Coder’s self-hosted Development Environment Platform.
What you’ll do here
Use your skills to increase the number of enterprise customers in the United States Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal System Integrators, targeting enterprise-sized organizations that have extensive engineering orgs
Communicate what Coder does, how we are different, and what our business values are through demos and slides and excellent communication and follow-through
Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities based on inbound leads and outbound hunting skills
Work with technical peers to deliver an exceptional experience to prospective customers
Establish relationships with key technical staff and decision-makers
Travel as needed to prospects and customers and marketing events to represent Coder
What we’re looking for
You have 5+ years of experience in software and/or SaaS prospecting and sales
You have 3+ years of experience selling to the DoD and Federal System Integrators, especially US Air Force (USAF) and/or US Space Force (USSF)
You have experience selling to technologists/engineering and leadership
You have knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, developer tools, platform engineering, CI/CD, and the SDLC
You are proud of your excellent written and verbal communication skills with a penchant for giving exceptional presentations
You have worked at both startup and large enterprise companies and/or the DoD
You are self-driven and have had consistent success with outbound prospecting, especially for enterprise companies
You partner well with Sales Engineers and enjoy team collaboration
You have a track record of exceeding performance objectives such as revenue targets, pipeline targets, and outbound activity
You thrive in a collaborative environment where people are passionate about their work and embrace each other's quirkiness

Interview Process
