The Sourcing Manager will implement and manage Avetta’s vendor management programs and daily procurement activities for Avetta’s buy-side contract portfolio. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive value, mitigate risks, and support the company's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with a track record of optimizing vendor relationships and driving cost savings in a fast-paced technology environment. They will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate buy-side procurement contracts with vendors and internal stakeholders to minimize risk, achieve favorable commercial terms, and maximize the value of the investment
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits to assess compliance, risk, value, and overall effectiveness
- Manage and optimize the company's vendor contract portfolio by monitoring expiration dates and coordinating renewals or terminations
- Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor strategies with organizational objectives and understand their specific needs
- Implement and maintain vendor management policies, procedures, and performance metrics
- Generate and present vendor performance reports to management, including budget analysis and risk assessments
- Identify and evaluate new vendors to support the company's evolving needs and market trends
- Partner with internal resources, including business owners, finance, technology, and other key stakeholders, in complete lifecycle vendor management, including;

- Work with internal stakeholders to manage vendor-related expenses and budgets
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders
- Monitor vendors and business users' compliance with contractual terms, policies, and regulations
- Measure, track, analyze, and report the total financial value of managed contracts including cost savings and avoidance achieved through negotiations, contract optimizations, and strategic sourcing functions and calculating the return on investment for procurement activities
- Compare vendor pricing against market benchmarks
- Evaluate potential risks associated with vendor relationships an work with business owners to implement mitigation strategies
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 7-10 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry
- Strong understanding of SaaS-based technologies and related services
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to analyze complex business cases and present findings effectively
- Experience with procurement systems and vendor management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience managing high-complexity, high-spend, and high risk vendor relationships
- Knowledge of contract law and vendor compliance regulations
- Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
IDEAL EDUCATION & TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $146,000 per year, with a potential bonus.
