Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing accounting practice as a virtual bookkeeper handling monthly financial operations for multiple business clients. You’ll work directly with a licensed CPA, gaining valuable experience across various industries while utilizing modern accounting software platforms. This role offers significant growth potential as the practice expands, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the firm’s expansion while developing your professional skills in U.S. accounting practices.

Responsibilities
  • Process and organize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online and Desktop platforms
  • Perform accurate monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Handle data entry for multiple client accounts with high attention to detail
  • Manage file transfers and updates for various accounting software platforms
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
  • Meet established monthly deadlines for reconciliation and reporting tasks
  • Collaborate directly with the principal CPA to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support the expansion of the practice through efficient handling of core bookkeeping tasks


Requirements
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions
  • Working knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy
  • Excellent English communication abilities
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with client information
