Job description

About the team
Studio Z, Zillow’s in-house creative agency, is seeking a self-starting graphic designer to support the visual work of our Content team. We develop engaging educational content to help consumers and real estate pros achieve their business objectives.

We embody the Zillow core values of transparency, integrity, and putting customers first. To thrive here, you’ll also need a good dose of empathy and a sense of humor.

About the role

This role will craft digital pieces like data visualizations, emails and landing pages, video graphics, GIFs, PDF documents, slide decks, and onsite messaging. You’ll partner closely with content writers and strategists on the content team to ensure the work is accurate, compelling, and aligned to our brand style and values.

You’ll get to:
  • Design email series, landing pages, video graphics, data visualizations, GIFs, site graphics, and other assets.

  • Develop a deep knowledge of Zillow’s brand identity and internal design systems, and ensure all work adheres to those systems as well as the latest accessibility standards.

  • Present your designs in formal reviews to partners across Marketing, emphasizing your thoughtfulness, creativity, and alignment to the brief and brand.

  • Work at the forefront of B2B services that are a driving force within Zillow and a key enabler as we build the real estate platform of the future.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • An experienced designer who can efficiently create a wide range of digital pieces.

  • A curious, diligent individual who can dive into the nuances of Zillow’s products and services and simplify their fine points into compelling visuals.

  • A motivated team member who will take ownership for moving quality work forward with minimal oversight.

  • A kind, fun colleague who enjoys mixing it up with other creatives and learning new things while making work we can all be proud of.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing compelling content at high velocity for a brand, ideally in a B2B context.

  • Expertise with both static and light motion deliverables, including infographics, emails, web pages, GIFs and video graphics.

  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Slides is required.

  • Proficiency with Adobe After Effects is a plus but not required.

We will consider candidates of all backgrounds who bring experience with the core duties and an eagerness to help our audiences succeed.

While this is a remote role, it will require some travel for in-person gatherings and work sessions.
