Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8PM to 5AM Manila Time

We are looking for a
Technical Recruiter who has recruiting and hands-on coding skills. This job is great for junior and intermediate software engineers with a strong interest in helping people find opportunities. 

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and assessing technical talent across various domains. A key part of your role will involve conducting pair programming challenges with candidates to evaluate their coding capabilities.

This position is fully remote, and English fluency is important as you would be speaking to candidates from many countries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical evaluations of candidates’ ability to write clean code
  • Administer basic pair programming challenges with shortlisted candidates to verify their coding abilities
  • Conduct initial pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and build talent pipelines.
  • Manage candidate communication, including coordinating interviews and following up on feedback.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of recruiting processes and technical assessment methods.
  • Report directly to the hiring manager, providing updates and feedback on the recruitment process.

Requirements
  • Experience in coding and conducting pair programming sessions with candidates
  • Proven experience as a technical recruiter, with a strong understanding of software development and technical roles.
  • Familiarity with technical interview techniques and tools for assessing coding skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
