Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible during client business hours (minimum 20 hours per week)

  • Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time (Sydney)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all bookkeeping functions through Quickbooks, including GST and BAS lodgments

  • Perform reconciliations across multiple payment platforms (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal)

  • Handle inventory adjustments and planning

  • Assist with manufacturing planning and inventory forecasting

  • Prepare financial documentation for external accountant review

  • Monitor and maintain inventory management systems

  • Process and reconcile daily sales data from e-commerce platforms

  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience

  • Strong proficiency in Quickbooks and Australian GST/tax requirements

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify

  • Demonstrated inventory management experience

  • Strong attention to detail and process adherence

  • Experience with multiple payment gateway reconciliations

  • Knowledge of Australian business accounting practices

  • Excellent communication skills in English

Scope:

  • Part-time role requiring minimum 20 hours per week

  • Direct reporting to company leadership

  • Remote position with dedicated hours

  • Responsible for day-to-day financial operations and inventory management
