Job description

ICF is hiring an Associate Salesforce Developer!

The Work: This is an exciting opportunity serving a critical mission. You will be working in a highly collaborative team environment; your work will directly support senior government officials on Department-wide business transformation and modernization efforts for an organization of approximately 18,000 stakeholders and end-users.

Job Location: Remote

What You Will Do:  

  • You will perform Salesforce development that includes (but not limited to): Flows, Lightning Web Components, Workflow, field page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • A working knowledge of APEX code is highly preferred
  • You will assist in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform by gathering requirements and designing the best practice solutions
  • You will design and develop features reporting directly to Salesforce Leads
  • You may be required to participate in periodic drug testing and background checks per government customer’s needs.
  • Our core work hours are 8:30am - 5pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.
  • You may be asked to travel once a quarter to an office.

Professional Skills:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration elements like flows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are crucial
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Attention to details; Be responsible and accountable to the work assigned
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Organized, detailed oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task.

What You Will Bring With You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science or related field) or equivalent years of additional experience
  • 1 or more years of experience in Salesforce with a basic understanding of Salesforce platform components like Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
  • Must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years

What We Would Like You To Bring With You:

  • Salesforce Certification – Platform Developer OR Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience working with multiple development teams.
  • Experience working on a project using the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience in a software development team building modern software products.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67,020.00 - $113,934.00
