Position Overview

ELVTR is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team. In this fully remote role, you will be key in onboarding new team members, maintaining smooth internal processes, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. If you're passionate about people, process, and precision and thrive in a digital-first environment, this role is for you.

This is a full-time remote position open to candidates based anywhere in South Africa.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote setting.
  • A strong communicator with excellent English skills.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace, Asana, and ideally experienced with HR tools like PeopleForce.
  • Eager to make an impact by helping teams operate more smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Onboarding Coordination

  • Draft and prepare onboarding materials, including welcome letters and consulting agreements.
  • Organize and host onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Guide new team members through company policies, access setup, and necessary tools.
  • Partner with the tech and creative teams to ensure every new team member has what they need from day one.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate team member celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and promotions.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure timely updates.
  • Address team member inquiries related to HR policies and internal procedures

Equipment & Logistics

  • Coordinate the shipment and return of team member equipment.
  • Collaborate with the tech team on logistics and inventory tracking.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of company-owned equipment and borrowing agreements.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Asana; familiarity with PeopleForce or similar HR systems is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
