Job description

Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking for a Scala Developer (Middle/Senior) to join its innovative team.

Our client is developing a high-load platform, and we are looking for a strong backend engineer experienced with Scala and ideally familiar with Akka and Play frameworks. The project focuses on building reliable, scalable distributed systems in a data-intensive environment.

This is a fully remote, long-term opportunity with a fast start.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop backend components using Scala
Contribute to building distributed, high-performance systems
Work with Akka (Clustering, Sharding, Persistence, Distributed Data)
Use the Play framework to build scalable, reactive web services
Collaborate with the team to maintain system quality, performance, and scalability
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement processes
