Job description

Independent Contractor, Term Position (3 - 6 Months, extendable if required). Only apply if you’ve worked with US clients (facing-the-client) and have deep, hands-on Shopify eCommerce experience as a Business Analyst. Additionally, fluent English is an absolute must (C1s and above only).

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a strong command of Agile methods and hands-on experience with Shopify. You’ll work across client workstreams to define product vision, facilitate discovery, and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables. You’ll be a key player within a cross-functional team, driving communication, product clarity, and delivery excellence.

ONLY LATAM-BASED CANDIDATES will be considered.

Requirements

Must-Have Experiences & Skills
  • Available to work full-time during US Eastern Time hours.
  • Hands-on Shopify experience — strong knowledge of eCommerce flows and integration points.
  • Facilitation of discovery sessions and requirements gathering with stakeholders.
  • Production of BRDs, product backlogs, process flows, and user flows.
  • Proven ability to drive Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Demos, Refinement) in partnership with PMs.
  • Experience working as part of a full Scrum team (PM, QA, Devs, Design, Solutions Architecture).
  • Ability to design system architecture diagrams for eCommerce integrations (upstream/downstream).
  • Proficiency using tools like Lucid, Miro, or similar to create architecture and process documentation.

Nice-to-Have Experiences & Skills
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
  • Experience using JIRA, Asana, or Trello to manage Epics, Stories, and Features.
  • Certifications like CSPO or SAFe Agilist.
