Job description

Independent Contractor, Term Position (3 - 6 Months, extendable if required). Only apply if you’ve worked with US clients (facing-the-client) and have deep, hands-on Shopify eCommerce experience as a Business Analyst. Additionally, fluent English is an absolute must (C1s and above only).

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a strong command of Agile methods and hands-on experience with Shopify. You’ll work across client workstreams to define product vision, facilitate discovery, and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables. You’ll be a key player within a cross-functional team, driving communication, product clarity, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

Must-Have Experiences & Skills

Available to work full-time during US Eastern Time hours.
Hands-on Shopify experience — strong knowledge of eCommerce flows and integration points.
Facilitation of discovery sessions and requirements gathering with stakeholders.
Production of BRDs, product backlogs, process flows, and user flows.
Proven ability to drive Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Demos, Refinement) in partnership with PMs.
Experience working as part of a full Scrum team (PM, QA, Devs, Design, Solutions Architecture).
Ability to design system architecture diagrams for eCommerce integrations (upstream/downstream).
Proficiency using tools like Lucid, Miro, or similar to create architecture and process documentation.

Nice-to-Have Experiences & Skills

Familiarity with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
Experience using JIRA, Asana, or Trello to manage Epics, Stories, and Features.
Certifications like CSPO or SAFe Agilist.
