Role Description
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the team in London, reporting into the Head of Finance.
Your main role will be to help develop and maintain all systems that underpin the company’s global operations. You will be expected to understand and improve the business processes and maintain a key focus on driving return on investment and revenue. Due to the scope of the role, you will be expected to understand and deliver the needs of multiple teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to details, strong communication skills and thriving when operating with a high level of trust and autonomy.
Responsibilities
Work on all projects that impact our key business systems to ensure continued operational effectiveness and ensure those projects are delivered on time and in budget
Review our business processes, data flows, quality of data and systems architecture.
Manage and troubleshoot Workflows and automation within core systems and data flows between our ERP (NetSuite) and our Ecommerce platform (Shopify), our third-party logistics system, our external CRM (Pipedrive) and any new system – with some support from external technical experts when necessary
Help motivate and educate our internal team on systems architecture, process automation and establishing a positive data-driven culture
Acting as the primary point of contact for resolving ERP-related issues and providing technical support to end-users
Review regular releases of key business systems and keep abreast of innovations available to Tala and work with senior management to devise solutions and improvements per department
Assist in dashboard and business intelligence development
Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
3-5 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a small structure
Practical knowledge of Netsuite
Practical knowledge of an integration platform (integrator.io/Celigo)
Knowledge of Zapier is a bonus
Experience helping employees with minimal technical experience
Familiarity with the latest developments in the industry
Familiarity with building BI stacks such as Looker, Power BI or SQL scripts is a big bonus
