SEPTA will be hosting a Vrtual Engineering Recruitment Event on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 10:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

 

  • This virtual Event will give you access to speak directly with SEPTA's Engineering Hiring Managers, and Human Resources Staff.
  • We will be engaging with applicants about SEPTA's current engineering projects, employment opportunities for these projects, and the potential career growth possibilities.

 

To participate you must register by completing the Online Event Registration Employment Application, upload your resume, and select the discussion of interest for the 10:30 am and 1:00 pm sessions. Additionally, please provide your degree discipline and employment experience. Once this step has been completed, participants will receive an invitation, by email to join the event utilizing MS TEAMS.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Registration is required.
  2. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  3. Engineering Degree must be from an accredited College or University. 
  4. Must have a minumum of five (5) years of engineering employment experience.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER - Starting Salary: $112,476.00

These positions are responsible for undertaking engineering/quality assurance assignments that are considered to be of "significant complexity" in size and scope. This position is further responsible for providing technical support and direction for engineering/quality assurance activities including the definition and coordination for design review and implementation. Also, establishing inspection plans, program/project development and consulting, statistical methods, audits, and continuous improvement approaches.

 

Salary Range: $5,000 salary increase for those with a Pennsylvania PE/RA License

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and seven years of relevant engineering experience is required. 

PROJECT ENGINEER - Starting Salary $101,790.00

These positions are responsible for undertaking engineering/quality assurance assignments that are considered to be "complex" in size and scope. This position is further responsible for providing support for engineering activities and continuous improvement approaches.

 

Starting Salary:  Mentors available for those seeking EIT registration/$5,000 salary increase for those with a Pennsylvania PE/RA License
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and five years of relevant engineering experience is required.
