Job Title: Senior Brand Manager, Popcorn & Kids Snacks Portfolio

Summary:
The Senior Brand Manager will have primary responsibility for building and delivering the 3Y Vision and Strategic Plan for the Popcorn and Kids Snacks portfolio – a ~$900M portfolio. This role is responsible for driving in year growth while building the future through translating insights into long-term growth spaces. This role requires leading teams to deliver category and financial goals.
Individuals must have highly developed Marketing & Strategy experience, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills They must also have a keen view of the external environment including a) general trends impacting the category and business b) competitive assessment and c) an understanding of both consumers and customers.
The Senior Brand Manager must be effective at:
Strategy Development & Communication: Translate insights into actionable strategies to accelerate profitable growth across the full marketing mix and deliver 3Y business objectives. Communicate strategies to Sr Leadership to gain alignment toward prioritization and execution of key initiatives.
General Management Leadership: Bring holistic business knowledge and curious, problem-solving approach to the role, must understand how the business operates to then develop superior strategic, annual, and marketing plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional team of R&D, finance, operations/supply chain, external agency partners and marketing teams to deliver brand-led initiatives. Contribute to a culture of brand building across the broader team.
Analytical Thinking & Insights Creation: Lead, in partnership with Consumer Insights and Business Intelligence teams, creation of actionable insights from analysis of market data, competitor intelligence, and consumer research to identify opportunities and risks toward delivery of business objectives.
Project Leadership: Provide oversight for commercialization of brand-led projects through stage gate process, from idea to launch. Partner with agencies, cross-functional partners, and key senior stakeholders to ensure successful launch.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, etc.):
- 6+ years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, Strategy and / or General Management
- Demonstrated ability to be accountable for sales and income results
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or equivalent marketplace experience preferred
- Self-starter with high degree of personal initiative
- Ability to manage people and lead cross-functional teams
- Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communicator to wide breadth of audiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment
