Role Name: Licensing Manager

Schedule:

  • Full-time (Monday-Friday, At least online from 9AM-1PM PST and the rest hours can be flexible)

Job Description

Step into an exciting role where you’ll be at the forefront of securing partnerships with iconic global brands. As a Licensing Manager, you’ll leverage your industry expertise and network to acquire valuable licensing rights for merchandise production across diverse product categories. This position offers unique opportunities to work with some of the world’s most recognized brands, from major beverage companies to entertainment giants. You’ll drive business growth through strategic partnership development while ensuring brand integrity in all licensed products. This role combines relationship building, negotiation expertise, and strategic thinking to expand the company’s impressive portfolio of licensed merchandise.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the acquisition of licensing rights from major global and national brands
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at prestigious brands and licensing agencies
  • Lead complex licensing negotiations from initial contact through successful deal closure
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s licensed brand portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and protect intellectual property rights
  • Create compelling presentations and proposals for potential brand partners
  • Monitor market trends and identify new licensing opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of licensing agreements
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all licensing agreements and partnerships


Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in licensing, brand partnerships, or business development within consumer products, merchandise, or fashion industries
  • Established network of contacts at major brands and licensing agencies
  • Demonstrated success in closing licensing deals with recognized global brands
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property rights and brand protection principles
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results
  • Experience presenting to and negotiating with senior executives
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding partnership acquisition targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for relationship building and deal closure
