Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, secure new client relationships, and expand our market presence. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and brings a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing a dynamic pipeline, and building strategic partnerships that contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet personal revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR goals
Conduct 100+ monthly outreach activities (calls, emails, virtual meetings, LinkedIn)
Secure at least 6 new client accounts per quarter (new or dormant/reactivated)
Schedule and complete a minimum of 5 client appointments per month
Collaborate with Account Managers and Coordinators to align on account strategy
Manage and maintain accurate pipeline activity in Salesforce
Lead proposals, pricing conversations, and client negotiations to close deals
Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned clients and gather feedback
Represent Furnished Quarters at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 7 years of outside sales experience in corporate housing, hospitality, or a related industry
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset with a strong work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Salesforce experience preferred
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor and a client-focused attitude
