What you’ll do

As the Senior Director of Site Reliability Engineering, you'll define and execute the vision for Infotech's SRE practice—ensuring the unwavering availability, peak performance, and limitless scalability of our SaaS platforms and internal systems. This is a pivotal opportunity to fuse your SRE mastery with critical civil and infrastructure construction workflows, directly impacting system reliability and aligning it with tangible business outcomes for our industry-leading solutions.

How you’ll do it

• Define and lead the SRE strategy, setting a vision that aligns with Infotech’s technical and business objectives to ensure a highly reliable and scalable infrastructure.
• Own the full service lifecycle—from design to deployment and continuous improvement—enhancing system performance, availability, and delivery velocity.
• Provide architectural leadership, building secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Leverage AI and automation to elevate observability, streamline incident response, and boost operational efficiency.
• Establish and embed SRE/DevOps best practices—including error budgets, SLOs/SLIs, and metrics—across teams to cultivate a culture of reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations to integrate reliability throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders, delivering system health insights and overseeing vendor strategy for optimal value.
• Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and cost optimization.
• Lead observability and incident management, developing monitoring frameworks, running postmortems, and driving continuous service enhancements.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with SOC 2, NIST, StateRAMP, and internal policies through governance and risk management best practices.
• Oversee internal IT systems, ensuring secure, reliable access to tools and platforms, while aligning IT operations with strategic goals and managing vendors effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS 

You must have

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 8 years relevant experience; or Master’s Degree in related field and 6 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years sustained excellent performance as Director 

We’d like you to have

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience across SRE, DevOps, and/or IT operations.
• Expertise in SaaS infrastructure and enterprise-grade systems.
• Familiarity with civil and infrastructure construction industry platforms.
• Experience working within a private equity or high-growth tech company.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, operating, and scaling large distributed systems.

Technical skills we’d like you to have

• Cloud architecture and management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD systems, and automation platforms.
• Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and data security frameworks.
