Job description

A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:

The Account Executive role is a dynamic and self-motivated member of the Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and closing opportunities.  Daily prospecting and proactive sales engagement are essential for success in this role. Overall, the successful candidate will exhibit a client focused positive attitude to differentiate DEKRA from the competition. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities for DEKRA Medical by leading sales activities with potential clients and current clients.
  • Introduce medical services and engage in business development activities
  • Evaluate market conditions, prepare sales plans, and forecasts as needed
  • Develop and leverage an extensive working knowledge of DEKRA Medical Services   
  • Organize and prepare proposals for medical services
  • Efficient in CRM & Microsoft applications
  • Pipeline creation and documented activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to close client contracts in the best interests of DEKRA
  • Maximize client satisfaction and retention
  • Work directly with the operations team to set clear expectations together with clients
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience and knowledge in Medical Notified Body business services
  • Self-motivated, self-starter who enjoys the marketing and sales environment
  • Ability to develop strong and genuine client relationships with high personal credibility, professionalism, and ethical conduct with all organizational levels
  • Excellent oral / written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and be responsive
  • Willingness to learn and rapidly adapt to changing market conditions

        Physical Considerations:

        • Ability to commute to client locations, and travel domestically as well as occasional international travel.
        • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone.
        • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. (luggage)

        Travel Considerations:

        • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 20-50%

        Compensation: 

        DEKRA North America’s compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $110,000 annually in our highest geographic market.  Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
