Here, “impossible” isn’t part of our vocabulary. You’ll face some of the toughest but most rewarding challenges of your career. They’re worth it. Channeling your inner grit will accelerate your growth, help us win as a team, and create unforgettable moments for our customers.

The Crown Is Yours

As a Lead Android Engineer on DK Horse you’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and data analysts to lead a team- centered around the mission of providing a best -in-class experience for our customers. You’ll be a creative contributor to our processes and decision-making so that when we build new features, we can ensure the scalability and availability of the entire platform. You will be working across teams, informing business decisions, and helping to expand our enterprise software platform. You will have the opportunity to work on a brand new product through all phases - from defining the requirements, to design, implementation, and testing.

What you’ll do as a Lead Android Engineer
  • Develop systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.

  • Develop new features, iterating on the current systems, and maintaining our high code quality.

  • Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice.

  • Work closely with the Product Team to understand the scope of the project and define technical requirements.

  • Mentor and grow junior members of the team in best practices in RnD.

  • Background in the development of custom views and animations.

  • Experience with reactive programming - RxKotlin/RxJava, Kotlin coroutines.

  • Expertise in native operating system capabilities, app signing, and deployment processes, and consumer app best practices.

  • Experience in consuming REST APIs and with Dependency Injection.

  • Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and Redux will be considered an advantage.

  • Familiarity with functional programming and with JavaScript and React will be a major advantage.
