About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced digital strategist to provide strategic guidance for our customers in the travel and hospitality industry as well as to our internal sales teams around the globe. You will be responsible for interacting with the customer to present best practices in digital marketing and transformation, lead roadmapping workshops, and consult with customers 1:1 to help them define future state visions and extract the most business value from our products. This role will partner with Value Engineering to develop strong ROI business cases and conduct Digital Experience Maturity Assessments. The role will also work in partnership with Account Executives to develop strategic account plans across our top 500 customers. You will work closely with Marketing to develop industry specific materials for sellers (including case studies, industry reports, and pitch decks). You will partner with Sales Engineering to develop industry specific product demo strategies and assets. You will work with our external implementation and sales Partners to support their sales and marketing efforts and strengthen relationships with customers. Additionally, you will represent Sitecore as a speaker at industry events and conferences and be responsible for creating external facing thought leadership. In this role you will perform a variety of duties and tasks in a global capacity, and to succeed you’ll need to be an excellent communicator and multi-task under tight deadlines across time zones. Your goal will be to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable and enduring.
What You’ll Do:
Develop strategic relationships with our travel & hospitality customers around the globe at the executive level
Engage with AEs to accelerate their thinking and develop strategic account plans
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Design and lead customer transformation and roadmapping workshops with key customers
Conduct Digital Experience Maturity Assessments and lead results discussion sessions with customers
Develop ROI business cases and lead discussion sessions with customers
Lead internal industry cohort of sales executives to share best practices and industry knowledge
Create internal POVs and industry specific materials that can be scaled across the organization
Develop and deliver thought leadership externally (on Sitecore’s website, Partners’ websites, industry conferences)
Work with Partners to share industry information, co-present and represent Sitecore
Collaborate positively and effectively with all members of the Sales and cross functional teams
What You Need to Succeed:
Senior leadership experience as a digital marketer or business leader of digital transformation in the travel & hospitality industry
Storytelling expertise
Storytelling with financial metrics, expected outcomes, real business benefits.
Proven experience developing thought leadership
Proven ability to present on stage to large audiences
Experience in workshop facilitation
Excellent communicator, specifically with C-Suite
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Self-managed, strong work ethic, responsive and customer-oriented
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
Sharp business acumen
Familiarity with Sitecore products a plus
