Job Role: SEM/SEO Specialist and Telemarketing Lead

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM (AU Time Zone)

Salary range: 1,400 - 1,800 AUD

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SEM/SEO Specialist and Telemarketing Lead to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will spearhead efforts to optimize our digital presence and generate high-quality leads. You will develop and execute data-driven SEM and SEO strategies to boost traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize campaign ROI. Simultaneously, you will take charge of outbound telemarketing campaigns, nurturing leads and building strong client connections.

Key Responsibilities:

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO): 

  • Develop and implement SEM and SEO strategies to drive traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize ROI. 
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target audiences and optimize website content. 
  • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, including Google Ads and social media ads, ensuring high performance and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Perform regular technical SEO audits and resolve site issues affecting rankings. 
  • Analyze data from Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools to assess campaign performance and provide actionable insights. 
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging and optimized web content, blogs, and case studies. 

Telemarketing & Lead Generation: 

  • Conduct outbound telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and nurture prospects. 
  • Build and maintain a database of potential clients and follow up with leads to schedule meetings or demos. 
  • Effectively communicate the company's value propositions to prospective customers over the phone. 
  • Record telemarketing activities in CRM tools like HubSpot and track conversions. 

Collaboration & Reporting: 

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align SEM/SEO strategies with business objectives. 
  • Develop weekly/monthly reports on SEO performance, SEM campaign metrics, and telemarketing outcomes. 
  • Stay updated with the latest SEM/SEO trends, algorithms, and telemarketing techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SEM, SEO, and telemarketing. 
  • Strong knowledge of tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and HubSpot. 
  • Proficiency in managing PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, and social media. 
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills for telemarketing. 
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive strategy adjustments. 
  • Familiarity with website management and CMS platforms like WordPress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B marketing, particularly in the software or technology sector. 
  • Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics or similar solutions is a plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
