This is a remote position.

Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location : Remote
Employment Type and Schedule : Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full cycle of accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Oversee and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Process payroll and related tax filings.
  • Work with outside CPA for tax preparations and audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Generate financial reports and analyze data for management.
  • Handle special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online), Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required).
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax filings is a plus.
