Job Description:

Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to the sales function to assist in the sales effort. Assists the field organization to meet or exceed sales quota.  May be client or product oriented.  Contributes to sales account planning. Participates actively in the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure. Owns the deal’s technical closure. Is knowledgeable of competition and able to identify lockout specification (identify Broadcom's competitive advantage over competition).  Analyzes customer requirements and recommends appropriate solution. Is responsible for demos. Acts as the customer voice to influence future product design that meets customer needs.  - Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. 

. Lead the technical engagement to drive opportunity to closure. This may involve assessing current customer environment and growth plans, delivering technical workshops, demos and/or proof of concepts, organizing reference calls, establishing a multi-year roadmap, completing a solution design, contributing to RFI/RPF responses.

. Learn to be a trusted advisor in the eyes of the customer

. Effectively coordinate and partner with CoE (Center of Excellence) Technical leads to drive deep technical validation of our technologies

·   Drive lead generation activities to build pipeline and identify new opportunities to expand within existing customers to achieve and surpass revenue quota targets while securing wins at reference accounts.

·   Develop & execute on a plan to enable our field teams and channel partners to sell VMware solutions

·   Partner with VMware Engineering and Product management teams to prioritize customer feature requests into our future product roadmap.

·   Collaborate with our support engineers, customer success, technical account managers and Professional Services organization to drive successful customer adoption of VMware Networking and Advanced Security Solution
