Laboratory Operations Adoption Consultant

Location: Vietnam (Remote + Onsite at Petrolimex Labs as Needed)

Project Timeline: Immediate Start – Project Completion by October 31, 2025 (Contract Role)

Snic Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Laboratory Operations Adoption Consultant fluent in Vietnamese and English to support the successful deployment of Siemens Opcenter RD&L at Petrolimex.

The project aims to increase the number of laboratory tests through automation, integrate lab equipment with Opcenter, and connect lab operations with SAP — helping Petrolimex reduce regulatory fines and scale lab operations efficiently.

The consultant will plug into the ongoing implementation, drive user adoption, lead functional validation, and liaison with Petrolimex leadership to ensure the Opcenter deployment across 17 labs is fully completed and accepted by October 31, 2025.

• Rapidly absorb available project documents (functional flows, blueprint, equipment lists, integration plans) and become operationally ready.
• Identify gaps, risks, or bottlenecks using domain expertise that could impact user adoption or system effectiveness.
• Drive laboratory end users to actively validate and test the Opcenter RD&L system, ensuring lab workflows, equipment integrations, and SAP connections meet real-world needs.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) at all 17 labs, ensuring completeness and quality of testing.
• Train and coach lab users during validation and early go-live phases to accelerate confidence and readiness.
• Manage expectations with Petrolimex lab leaders and management, providing clear, timely updates on user readiness, risks, and corrective actions.
• Align Opcenter adoption to Petrolimex’s operational goals: higher test volumes, faster processing, reduced errors, and compliance improvements.
• Ensure seamless coordination between Snic Solutions, VDC Soft, and Petrolimex stakeholders to meet project milestones on time.

• 3+ years of hands-on laboratory operations experience (petroleum, chemical, or industrial labs preferred).
• Experience with LIMS platforms and lab equipment integration projects (e.g., Opcenter Laboratory, LabWare, Starlims).
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and verbal) with the ability to engage both technical teams and leadership.
• Past experience leading user testing, validation coordination, or user adoption initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration touchpoints (basic familiarity is sufficient).
• Strong communication, relationship management, and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Lab Science, or related disciplines.
• Exposure to digital transformation projects in manufacturing, petroleum, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and laboratory compliance requirements.

• Ability to plug into an ongoing project quickly and become effective without extensive handholding.
• Strong focus on user activation, user confidence-building, and operational alignment.
• Proactive in removing bottlenecks related to equipment integration, data validation, and workflow adoption.
• Highly outcome-driven with a sharp focus on Petrolimex’s success metric: higher testing throughput, regulatory compliance, and reduced fines.
• Natural ability to earn trust at both lab user level and leadership level.
• Focused on delivering project milestones on time, ensuring 17 labs go live successfully by October 31, 2025.
